Alles beginnt mit der Beziehung. Vertrauen, klare Kommunikation und F\u00fchrung sind daf\u00fcr die Bausteine und eine gute Vorbereitung von Lektionen, Verladen, der Hufpflege und Impfungen oder auch von entspannten Ausritten f\u00fchrt schneller und sicherer zum Ziel. <\/p>\n<p>Pat Parelli spricht gerne \u00fcber seine \u201ePredictable Partnership Patterns\u201c: Das Pferd muss klar wissen was es zu tun und nicht zu tun hat. Beispielsweise kann man mit \u00dcbungen am Boden dem Pferd verst\u00e4ndlich machen, was wir von ihm m\u00f6chten und es damit gleichzeitig auf die Arbeit im Sattel vorbereiten. Vorw\u00e4rts und r\u00fcckw\u00e4rts, Kreise, Seitw\u00e4rtsbewegungen \u2013 aus wiederkehrenden Mustern entsteht Verl\u00e4sslichkeit. Entscheidend sind f\u00fcr Pat dabei drei Dinge: Freundschaft, Freiheit und Grenzen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vertrauen statt \u201eDirect Line Thinking\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ein typischer Fehler im Umgang mit Pferden ist f\u00fcr Pat Parelli das \u201eDirect Line Thinking\u201c: Wir wollen ein bestimmtes Ergebnis, etwa, dass das Pferd jetzt sofort in den Anh\u00e4nger steigt und konzentrieren uns nur noch darauf. Besser sei es, dieeinzelnen F\u00e4higkeiten vorher spielerisch vorzubereiten. Wer mit seinem Pferd beispielsweise Planen, Hindernisse und enge Situationen \u00fcbt, macht auch das Verladen leichter.<\/p>\n<p>Auch beim Einfangen empfiehlt Pat umgekehrt vorzugehen, sprich nicht unbedingt den Kopf greifen wollen, sondern dem Pferd Raum geben, sich dem Menschen zuzuwenden. Everything begins with the relationship. Trust, clear communication, and leadership are the building blocks, and good preparation for lessons, trailer loading, hoof care, vaccinations, or even relaxed trail rides leads to the goal faster and more safely. <\/p>\n<p>Pat Parelli likes to speak about his &#8222;Predictable Partnership Patterns&#8220;: The horse must clearly understand what to do and what not to do. For example, groundwork exercises can help communicate to the horse what we want from it while simultaneously preparing it for work under saddle. Forwards and backwards, circles, sideways movements \u2013 reliability develops from recurring patterns. For Pat, three things are crucial: friendship, freedom, and boundaries.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Trust instead of &#8222;Direct Line Thinking&#8220;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to Pat Parelli, a typical mistake when handling horses is &#8222;Direct Line Thinking&#8220;: We want a specific result\u2014such as having the horse get into the trailer right away\u2014and focus solely on that. It is better to prepare the individual skills playfully beforehand. Those who practice with tarps, obstacles, and tight situations, for instance, also make trailer loading easier.   <\/p>\n<p>When catching a horse, Pat also recommends taking the opposite approach\u2014meaning not necessarily aiming to grab the head, but rather giving the horse room to turn toward the person.
